Jesse Spencer, an actor, these days, is totally convinced that he can be a doctor in real life instead of an actor. Spencer plays the role of Dr. Robert Chase, who is a specialist in intensive care in the Series ‘House MD’. He is an Australian actor and belongs to a family of doctors. Jesse has two surgeon brothers and a sister who is a medical student. This star considers himself the black sheep of his family as he is the only one, in his family, who is not a doctor.

Spencer is also of the view that he kind of likes the blood, guts and gore. He says that he loves it when they draw his blood. He says that he very well knows what he is talking about, so he likes to offer his own opinion. But his doctors tell him, ‘Uh, no come on Jesse, you’re an actor.’”

But Jesse you really are an actor. And I guess, we as fans like you as an actor. And one more thing while you are an actor you can play any role and be whatever you want to be. Now, isn’t that fun? And here is request from your fans, we want to see more of you as an actor and we love you the way you are. So no changes in career, please.

Today I saw the Emmy list for the nominees for ‘Outstanding lead actor in drama series’, and there I spotted my favorite Hugh Laurie’s name. I am very happy to see my favorite actor as a nominee for Emmy. But I am little doubtful because he got nominated twice in the past two years for the same title. Once in 2005 and again in 2007 but he could not win the title. But, I am glad that Emmy’s jury found him deserving enough to be part of the race this year.

But being a fan I will get satisfaction only when he will win the title. Come on, he is trying hard for years and doing exceptionally well in the role of Dr. Gregory House. First of all House is a different kind of drama and doesn’t present much personal stuff like other medical dramas. So I think its best in the category and the Dr. Gregory’s role gives the storyline the strength of pure and hard-core medical drama which is closer to the reality.

Dr. House is the strongest character in House MD and the whole story revolves around him and especially Laurie’s tough looks and excellent acting adds to the character. He makes that character come alive and nobody can judge that he is the same comedian as in ‘101 Dalmatians’ and ‘Stuart Little’.

I really like him more in the serious role rather than in the comic roles, but I must say that he owns such a wonderful personality that it suits both tough looks as well as the funny one. I’ll keep my fingers crossed on the Award’s day and I wish that he wins the title. At least to me he is really an outstanding actor in the House MD. Let’s see what happens?

It’s wonderful, I was checking out the list of Emmy nominees released by Academy of Television Arts and sciences and found ‘House MD’ on the list of best drama series. But in the same category, there is another medical drama, ‘Grey’s Anatomy’. I think chances of House alone to be on the list were more. I think ‘House MD’ is far better in quality than ‘Grey’s Anatomy’. Dr. House’s strange and unacceptable ways of treatment makes the show different and more happening than the ‘Grey’s Anatomy’. Moreover ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ is not a pure medical drama as it concentrates more on the personal lives of the doctors and interns and their relationships with other doctors and their patients. Exploring interpersonal relations is part of other dramas too, so there is not much difference except that this one is played out in a hospital.

On the other hand ‘House MD’ is a real medical drama as most of the times it deals with critical patients and viewer gets involved with the each and every detail of his disease down to the point when Dr. House finds solution then eventually the treatment of the patient. Moreover the case is wrapped up in a single episode.

There is no need to hang on until the next episode to know about the developments of that case. Each episode of the show is different from the previous episodes and complete in itself. At the same time they are part of the one big whole. One can miss one episode without losing out much on drama.

I still download and watch the all episodes of House every weekend and never get bored of watching it again and again. I truly believe that it should win an Emmy Award this year. I am eagerly waiting for the next season.

I can write dozens of words about Hugh Laurie playing Dr. Gregory in ‘House‘. I am a huge fan of his especially for his role as Dr. House. He really deserves this praise. Yesterday I was .reading in news about him, as being a fan I keep a close eye on his activities. Believe me, I found many other fans like me, and that included media persons too, who keep on digging more about Laurie.

I think I have some special connection with Laurie I was born in 1982 and he started his career in the same year. In Hollywood he is called the actor with posh voice. I liked him in the movie ‘101 Dalmatians’, as Jasper, who was hired to steal puppies. But he finally succeeded in winning hearts in 2004 only for his role of Dr. Gregory.

I read something interesting about his auditions for this role yesterday. David Shore, the show creator, shared a bit with the reporters. While auditioning for the role of Dr. House, Laurie assumed American accent, which was so convincing that executive producer Bryan Singer, who was unaware at the time about Laurie’s nationality (Hugh Laurie is a British actor ), pointed to him as an example of just the kind of compelling American actor he had been looking for. Rest, as we all know, is history.

I also read in another article about Laurie that the role was for 34 years old Dr. House and the show producers never wanted House to be young. So they were not sure about Laurie’s selection as his looks are too chiseled. But see, we can’t imagine Dr’ House’s role played by somebody else, in fact nobody else will suit the role. He is simply perfect. Do you guys agree with me?

Don’t take me wrong reading the title says. I’ve not seen House’s head that closely that I would like or dislike it. Instead I am talking about the episode named House’s Head of the season four. The episode is solely based upon House. He meets with an accident due to a drunk driver of the bus. He gets head injuries and yet he saves that driver and treats other passengers with the help of other fellow doctors like Amber, Chase and Kutner.

After this accident he loses his memory for a while and he can recall only a few things from his life prior to the accident. He recalls that the driver was drinking at a bar and somebody from the bar told him that he should not drive the bus. While treating the driver, Dr. House makes a mistake which is sorted out with the help of Thirteen.
Interestingly, in the same episode, Dr. House gets intuitive and after having a cardiac attack and being saved by his team, he tells Wilson that Amber is in danger. Actually he had seen her in the fragmented memory bits of accident. Very brave of House I must say who not only survived the big accident but also treated other passengers. That is why he is my favorite and I want to see him in action as soon as possible. And I know it’s not possible yet. Anyway I liked this episode so much and I told many of my friends about it. We had a week long gossip on this particular episode.

Well from my gang, I, Michael and Chris are huge fans of Dr. House and we never miss his single episode. Other people in my gang, including girls, like Amber and Wilson more than Dr. House. So this difference of opinion, stretch our debates for hours. Whenever we get together, we can’t resist talking about House MD. And I can’t resist watching its episodes whenever I am online.

House MD is coming back on April 28 but we don’t have any latest info about the episode. Let’ talk something apart from that. There’s no doubt about the success of series and every TV freak dotes on House MD. I, too, never missed even a single episode from the series .

The show is a major international success but you know when it started filming the pilot episode, even the actors were not confident about the success. One of the major roles on series, Hugh Laurie was so unconfident that he stayed in a hotel for the first one year of filming. He says, “At the time (when the pilot episode was made) I blindly signed up thinking it wouldn’t go anywhere.” He reveals that everyone was signing leases on houses and I told them “You’re mad, we’re only going to last a month.’ I literally didn’t unpack.”

Hugh Laurie is playing Dr. Gregory House on the series who’s a ruthless and antisocial doctor. But now he himself agrees that the show is one of the very best shows aired on TV till date. Laurie also received two Golden Globe Awards for his performance of the Show.

Happy Birthday to ‘House MD’ star Jennifer Morrison, one of the prettiest and cutest women in the world. Jennifer plays Dr. Allison Cameron on the series, who has conflicting feelings about House.

This lady was born on April 12, 1979 in Chicago, IL. Along with her TV appearances, she has also appeared in small roles in Hollywood films. She also starred in Urban Legends: ‘Final Cut’ and ‘Mr. & Mrs. Smith’. In 2004, she auditioned for the role in FOX drama ‘House MD’ and the show, of course, turned out to be the smashing-hit and Jennifer soon found herself experiencing a level of fame that was entirely new to her.
