The first image we saw on episode was- a picket line. Princeton Plainsboro Teaching Hospital’s nurses are on strike and meanwhile, Jeff, a nurse’s husband collapses. That nurse and her husband are forced to cross the picket line.
House discovers a guy in the severely under-staffed emergency room who’s not angry at having to wait. At that moment, House decides that his constant niceness is a symptom that must be treated. He takes the case and the man tests positive for syphilis. On the other hand, Kumar decides that if niceness is a symptom, then, meanness should also be. He finds phial of House’s blood and tests it.
Results are positive with syphilis and Kumar tells everyone about it including Chase and Cameron. Actually, House doesn’t have syphilis; he just placed the vial there in order to see if the kids would test it. House completely enjoys pretending to take his syphilis medication. Amber and House fight over Wilson and take the matter to Cuddy. According to her, House is wasting his time and performance reviews are due.
For me House-Wilson-Amber triangle was enjoyable. Kumar realizes that House doesn’t have syphilis after all, but a parasite that gives syphilis tests a false positive. Chase’s attempting to find if Cameron slept with House. House and Amber are left changing bed pans, while Wilson just simmers. You can watch the episode here for free.
