In this episode of the season, House got his new patient named Ezra Powell, who was a renowned medical research pioneer, a guest character portrayed by Joel Grey. The man buckled in his laboratory and was placed under the care of House. As he carried out medical tests, House didn’t come up with any conclusion about the disease. On the other side, the health of the patient was continuously worsening. Ezra was asking the team to help him end his life as his condition was getting worse. It became an issue of disagreement among the team members as everybody had his/her own opinion regarding mercy killing, especially when a hope of Ezra’s cure was still there. On the other hand, House became the crush of the daughter of a clinic patient which was somehow disturbing for him.
