Season 4
It was September 25, 2007 when ‘House’ returned with fourth season and the season opener was entitled “Alone”. In the season opener, it was shown that an office building collapsed and House started working fast to diagnose a young woman, Megan. She’s the only one survivor of the adversity. While attending the lady, House discovered that diagnosing patients by himself is not very easy task. At the end, Cuddy pressurized House to hire a new team to handle the case properly. Second episode of season was entitled “The Right Stuff”. In this episode, House started interviewing new team members, reluctantly. While doing so in his own way, he put all the 40 applicants in a Darwinian trial period. House had very diminutive details about the patient so going on was a big deal. Within a very short time-period, House must determine the diagnosis so that the life of the patient could be saved. On the other hand, fellowship candidates started questioning Foreman’s judgment over the case of a female drag car racer. Then we watched the episode entitled ‘Ugly’. House and his team were treating a teenager suffering from a major facial deformity and a documentary film crew started following them while they try to solve the case. Just very prior to the surgery, the patient suffered a heart attack. As the camera was following their every move so Cameron and Chase were very self-conscious whereas House was looking for a way to stay away from the cameras. The next episode of season was entitled ‘You Don’t Want to Know’ in which House was seen treating a patient who had a heart attack. House didn’t like magicians so was sure that the man was just trying to cover up his weakness. Meanwhile, House had a new challenge for his team. Next to it was the episode entitled ‘Games’ in which we saw that all candidates were assigned to a very challenging case. The patient was an uncooperative punk guitarist; the man had not a very good past. Cuddy forced House to select the final members of his team. House promised that the one, who would correctly diagnose the patient, would be awarded a guaranteed position.
